Feather meal, bone meal and kelp, milled together for beds that keep giving.
- Releases over 10 to 12 weeks
- Safe around edibles and pets once watered in
- Builds soil biology, not just a green flush
Milled to order and dated on the bag. Orders in before 2pm ship the same working day.
Wear gloves and avoid breathing the dust while you spread it. Water it in and keep pets off treated pots until the surface is dry. Wash your hands before eating. Store the bag sealed and dry; damp product clumps and loses its even spread.
Potassium-led organic feed for heavy croppers in beds or pots.
Comfrey meal, kelp and rock potash milled together into a potassium-led organic feed at 3-4-6. Fruiting crops take up far more potassium than anything else once they start cropping, and a plant short of it gives you soft, pale, disappointing fruit.
Being organic and slow releasing, it is far more forgiving in a container than a mineral feed. Pots concentrate everything, and a heavy hand with a soluble feed shows up on the leaves within days. This one simply sits there and releases as the plant needs it.
Follow these in order. The rates below are the ones we test to, and going over them will not make anything grow faster.
Blend 2 tablespoons per 5 gallon pot into the compost as you fill it. In a grow bag, work 1/4 cup evenly along the length before planting.
Scatter 1 tablespoon on the surface of each pot, or a handful per plant in the ground, and scratch it into the top inch. Water in and keep it clear of stems.
Feed every four weeks from first flower until picking ends. If leaves start to yellow between the veins, that is potassium excess rather than shortage, so skip the next feed.
