Milled to order and dated on the bag. Orders in before 2pm ship the same working day.
Organic blends, straight NPK, compost, liquid feeds and starters, each one with the rate written out plainly so you know exactly how much to put down and when. Order before 2pm and it leaves us the same day.
Order before 2pm on a working day and it ships that afternoon. Most addresses see it inside two to four working days, and anything over 40 lb travels on a pallet service we tell you about before you pay.
We blend in short runs instead of holding pallets of finished stock. Every bag carries the month it was made, and nothing leaves here more than eight weeks after milling.
Send a photo and a description of your soil and you will get a straight answer within one business day, including the times the honest answer is that you do not need to buy anything.

You will not be asked to register, and nothing is charged until we have confirmed the shipping cost with you in writing.
Filter the shop by what you are trying to fix rather than by brand. Every product page states what it is for, what it is not for, and the exact rate to apply. If two look similar, the difference is written out on both.
Each product comes in two or three bag sizes, and every size shows the area it covers so you can match it to your beds instead of guessing. Set how many bags you want on the product page.
Send your basket over as an order request with your delivery address. We confirm stock, price the shipping for your address, and reply within one business day with everything itemised before anything is charged.
The six things we are asked most. If yours is not here, ask us directly and you will hear back within one business day.
Measure the bed and work from square footage rather than guessing. Every product page here lists a rate per 100 square feet and every bag size shows the area it covers, so the arithmetic is done for you. As a rough guide, a 12 lb bag of a granular feed treats about 400 square feet, which is a bed roughly 20 feet by 20 feet. If you are between two sizes, take the smaller one; fertilizer keeps better in the ground than in an opened bag.
Start when plants begin actively growing in spring, not while the soil is still cold, because nothing is taken up by a dormant root. Feed through the growing months at the interval on the product page, then stop about six weeks before your first expected frost so soft new growth has time to harden off. Compost is the exception and can go on any time of year.
Every product here is safe around edibles when used at the stated rate, and each product page carries its own safety note worth reading before you open the bag. The general rules are the same throughout: wear gloves, water the product in after spreading, and keep children and animals off the area until the surface is dry. Bone meal and manure-based products smell attractive to dogs, so water those in especially well.
Orders placed before 2pm on a working day leave us the same day, and anything later goes out the next morning. Delivery is typically two to four working days depending on how far you are from us. Bulky items over 40 lb travel on a pallet service, which adds a day and needs someone in to receive it, and we will tell you if that applies to your order before it ships.
We mill and blend in small batches rather than holding pallets of finished stock, and every bag is dated on the seam with the month it was made. Nothing leaves here more than eight weeks after milling. That matters most for organic blends and liquid feeds, where the biology and the trace elements degrade in a bag that has spent a year in a warehouse.
Unopened bags can go back within 60 days for a full refund, and we cover the return shipping. If you have opened a bag and it turns out to be wrong for your soil, tell us what happened and we will swap it for something that suits, or refund it, whichever you prefer. Anything that arrives split, damp or damaged is replaced immediately with no need to return it.
Still unsure which product suits your soil? Email hello@fertilizer.shop with a photo and a rough bed size, and we will tell you what we would use.
